Well your not alone!
According to the Government of Canada, of all new business startups, 33% will fail in the first 12 months or less

Of the remaining 67%, 80% will fail within 24 to 60 months.(source: The Government of Canada website "Help for Small Business")

Are these numbers just a reflection of great deal of stupid people with bad business ideas?

No! Certainly not! In fact, it has been our experience that most business owners are smart, educated, hardworking, ethical, caring people with the passion to make a difference and a need to follow their dreams.

WHY do so many Businesses FAIL?
According to MSM Money, other expert sources and some common sense, the 2 Main reasons are:

1. Lack of Sales

2. Poor Marketing

(Source Nic Cicutti MSN Money and 2003 survey by U.S. Bank)

Ironically, the poor sales is a direct result of poor marketing, over come poor marketing and you have over come them both.

Vital to Success
MARKETING is the number one most important activity of any business, do it well and your become a member of an exclusive club "a successful business owner" do it poorly and you become part of the statistics of broken dreams and bankruptcy.

Why is Marketing so hard and elusive?
The answer is two fold:

1. Takes a lot of time
It's a fulltime job, the study of marketing and advertising can take all your time. There is so much information and so many conflicting opinions and options out there, it take years of research and testing to figure out a combination that works for you. It had taken me over 25 years and countless hours on the frontlines.  Frankly, time that businesses just don’t have.

2. Those who really know, don't want you to know
Yes, it's true... you will never be able to crack the code without paying the price of admission. You will not learn it in schools, books, or online. The answer to this complex puzzle was discovered in the trenches and is protected by those who use it to succeed. Why on earth would anyone tell you how to solve it, they would only be hurting themselves.

Marketing the Ultimate Puzzle
You can not complete a puzzle with one piece, nor by throwing a bunch of pieces on the table and hope something comes together. It takes numerous pieces methodically placed together in sequence and interconnecting to complete the puzzle.

Solve the puzzle once and you can do it over and over again for any business you wish, that is why most successful business owners often have more than one business or divisions.

The Million Dollar question "What do you do about it?"
The way I see it you have two choices:

1. Study, test and live marketing until you figure it out.

2. You hire someone to solve the puzzle for you.
